Captain Dave Ramalho’s passion for fishing and the water began at a young age through fishing and crabbing the waters of the Barnegat Bay and surf fishing in Midway Beach New Jersey. This naturally progressed to his love of boating. Once he discovered offshore fishing, he was hooked. 

Dave's love for fishing has taken him all over the world seeking to learn local knowledge and techniques both pelagic and inshore species. He's been all over, fishing for black and Striped Marlin in Mexico and Sailfish in Costa Rica. 

Fishing in both local and professional tournaments, Dave Ramalho and his crew are consistently competing in some of the worlds most elite fishing competitions. Such competitions include the Mid Atlantic 500, MA Tuna tournament and the White Marlin Open.  Captain Dave took third place over all in Mahi category in the mid Atlantic 500 as angler. The crew of the Shore Shot claimed over 30K in tournament winnings last year alone.
